The Umpqua Valley will experience afternoon high temperatures around 10 degrees above normal through Sunday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that high pressure has brought a warm dry air mass to the region. That will drive the highs to the low to mid 80s for the four-day period. On Monday, a cold front is moving in and will drop temperatures to below normal for a few days. There will be a chance of rain through next Wednesday.
Wednesday’s afternoon high temperature was 76 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
