Roseburg Police jailed a woman for warrants on Tuesday evening.
An RPD report said at 7:45 p.m. the 36-year-old was contacted near the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Rowe Street, due to the unworked warrants. The woman reportedly initially fled from officers and hid inside a tent at The Point in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections.
During the contact, the woman allegedly displayed signs consistent with methamphetamine use. Her parole officer requested that she be detained for failure to report. Bail was set at $20,000.
