ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR WARRANT, DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a warrant and for driving while suspended on Monday.

An RPD report said at 8;00 p.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old during a traffic stop in the 900 block of West Nebo Street after they had observed her driving. Officers had prior knowledge that her driving status was suspended. During that time, officers learned that the woman also had a warrant for her arrest out of the Myrtle Creek Police Department. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $12,500.
