Roseburg Police cited a man for city ordinance violations early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 3:45 a.m. while driving through Stewart Park in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive, officers contacted the 52-year-old sitting in his camp site. The man had a fire going that was dug into the bank of the hill where the camp was set up. Officers had the man put the fire out and cited him for prohibited camping and prohibited outdoor burning.
