Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported assault incident on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. officers contacted the 28-year-old in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street after he had allegedly assaulted a victim. The victim reportedly sustained several abrasions to his cheek and nose but refused medical attention. The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $8,750.
