Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a restraining order violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at approximately 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Northeast Alameda Avenue for a disturbance. While on scene, officers contacted the 25-year-old and a second person outside the home. Officers checked the man through dispatch and learned he had a Douglas County Community Corrections Parole Board warrant for absconding, and that he was restrained from being within 150 feet of the protected person, who was with him.

Dispatch confirmed the warrant and the restraining order, and the man was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $5,000.
