ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANTS, DRUG POSSESSION CHARGE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for warrants and a drug possession charge on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 8:20 p.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old in the 2300 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway, due to the warrants. They were out of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Winston Police Department and the Oregon State Parole Board. The man was also reportedly found to be in possession of a user amount of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $7,500. He was released later Wednesday evening.
