Over 17 percent of registered voters have cast a ballot for the 2026 Douglas County May Primary Election.
County Clerk Daniel Loomis said 17.40 percent, or 15,731 ballots had been received as of late Wednesday afternoon. Loomis said that is equal to the participation rate for the same point in the 2022 May Primary Election.
Any registered voters who have not yet received a ballot should contact or visit the Election’s Office. Ballots must be cast by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19th. For a list of official ballot drop sites around the county, go to: https://www.douglascountyor.gov/179/Official-Drop-Site-Locations
