Roseburg Police jailed a man for a failure to appear warrant on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said shortly after 11:00 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a minivan in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after observing multiple traffic violations. Officers found that the 31-year-old driver was suspended at the misdemeanor level and had a warrant for his arrest out of Winston Municipal Court for failure to appear on a previous charge. He was taken into custody and was detained on $5,000 bail.
