ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR PROBATION VIOLATION/CITE FOR DRUGS

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a probation violation and cited her for drug possession on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:50 a.m. the 47-year-old was called in by a city employee for smoking something out of a pipe while she was seated behind city hall in the 900 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. When contacted, the woman had a baggy of suspected methamphetamine in front of her, a torch in her hand, and was in possession of two glass pipes. The woman admitted to smoking the drug, but called it “medicine”

A detainer was issued and the woman was walked to the jail. She was detained without bail.
