Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged burglary on Sunday night.

An RPD report said just after 810 p.m. officers responded to the incident in the 100 block of Northwest Walter Court. During the investigation, officers learned that a compact car was allegedly involved in the incident. Officers later located the vehicle and contacted 47-year-old Jackie Willis, who was nearby.

Willis admitted to entering the residence and taking a number of items. He was charged with first-degree counts of burglary and theft, and second-degree criminal mischief. Willis was detained without bail.
