ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL TWO PEOPLE FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed two people following a disturbance on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Southeast Rice Avenue, following the incident which had just taken place.

27-year-old Macen Bowers had reportedly been chased off the property with a baseball by his brother, 23-year-old Logan Bowers. After chasing Macen off the property, Logan allegedly jumped on the hood of Macen’s vehicle while a woman was inside it. He then reportedly smashed a bottle of wine, which caused alarm.

Logan then allegedly threw the bat at Macen, attempting to hit him, but missed. Macen then reportedly grabbed the baseball bat and chased Logan back into the house. Macen then allegedly hit the door and a window with the baseball bat, causing substantial property damage.

Logan Bowers was charged with two counts of menacing and one count of second-degree disorderly conduct. Macen Bowers was charged with menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and first-degree criminal mischief. Both were detained without bail.
