Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported store theft incident on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 1:45 p.m. officers responded to the business in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway, regarding an uncooperative shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers learned the 35-year-old had allegedly stolen two bottles of alcohol valued at under $25. When confronted by store employees, he reportedly pushed one, who then detained him. The man was allegedly not cooperative with officers but was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with third-degree theft and harassment. Bail was set at $3,750.
