Roseburg Police jailed a man for a failure to appear warrant early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:30 a.m. the 51-year-old was contacted behind a business in the 300 block of Northeast Jackson Street and found to have the warrant. It was confirmed and he was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2.500. The man was released later in the day. The man’s dog was taken to Saving Grace Humane Society.
