Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Monday.

An RPD report said shortly after 7:30 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old in the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street, believing he was wanted by his parole officer. A detainer was authorized for failing to report. The man was held without bail.
