GLENDALE MAN JAILED FOR 29 CHARGES FOLLOWING ELUDE INCIDENT

A Glendale man was jailed for 29 charges following an elude incident on Monday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 1:40 p.m .officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Southeast Mosher Avenue and Southeast Mill Street. The driver, 36-year-old Michael Brenden of Glendale, eluded police and a chase began. The officers eventually disengaged from the pursuit, but the sedan was later located by Myrtle Creek Police. A second pursuit ensued and Brenden was eventually taken into custody.

Charges included attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot, reckless driving, driving while suspended, recklessly endangering another person, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle, Brenden was detained without bail.
