In the KQEN Business Spotlight:
Wing Stop is getting ready to open in Roseburg, though few details are available.
The fast-growing company is known for cooked-to-order classic and boneless chicken wings, crispy tenders and chicken sandwiches which feature around a dozen distinct sauces and rubs. Founded in Garland, Texas in 1994, there are now over 3,000 Wing Stop locations, with nearly 500 new outlets opening in 2025 alone, according to the company’s website.
The local Wing Stop will be in the Roseburg Marketplace, at the corner of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Stewart Parkway. It will occupy what used to be the meeting room area of Round Table Pizza. The pizza business closed its doors in July of 2025, but is getting ready to reopen, operated by an existing Round Table franchisee. A consultant working on the Wing Stop opening told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the two businesses have the same owner. Remodeling and other preparations are currently underway for both outlets. The projected opening date has not been announced.
The Wing Stop opening appears to be garnering significant community interest, with a recent post on the KQEN Facebook page containing only a picture of the building and basic information, generating over 55,000 views as of Saturday morning.
News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN is seeking more information and has reached out to Wing Stop marketing and media relations staff.
