ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR TWO THEFT INCIDENTS

Roseburg Police jailed a man for two theft incidents on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:15 p.m. officers contacted 33-year-old Oscar Lainez-Flores after he allegedly stole a bottle of alcohol from the liquor store in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He was taken into custody without issue. A detainer was authorized for violating his probation.

During the detention, Lainez-Flores was found to have stolen items from a nearby business under his jacket. The stolen items included a 100-piece racheting wrench set valued at nearly $110. The man was charged with theft in the second and third-degree and for the probation violation. Bail was set at $7,500.
