Roseburg Police cited both drivers in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday.
An RPD report said at 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Southeast Kane Street and Southeast Washington Avenue. They learned that the first driver proceeded into the intersection while the second driver was driving through it. The first vehicle turned into the side of the second vehicle, causing the second driver to spin out. He told officers that he did not have insurance, so was cited for driving uninsured. The first driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
The second vehicle was severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene. The first vehicle did not require a tow. Neither driver required medical attention.
