A Roseburg man was jailed following a disturbance on a state highway on Saturday.

An Oregon State Police report said at approximately 4:20 p.m. troopers responded to the incident on Highway 138E five miles east of Roseburg. An investigation revealed that 25-year-old Harley Lee had allegedly thrown a female victim out of a vehicle, then driven the wrong way into oncoming traffic with two children in the vehicle, before turning the vehicle around and trying to run the victim over as she stood on the shoulder of the highway.

Lee was taken into custody and charged with attempted vehicular assault, harassment, menacing, reckless driving, and three counts of recklessly endangering another person. Lee was detained on $20,000 bail and was released on Monday.
