Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and for drug possession on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 a.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old near the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Rowe Street, knowing he had an RPD warrant. He was taken into custody without incident. Officers located a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in his pocket. A detainer was issued for the drugs. Bail was set at $2,500.
