Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 10:20 a.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old at his camp which was set up near the bike path in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. His camp consisted of a large tarp approximately 20 feet in width which covered several personal items and was set up within 5 feet of the path.

The man had five prior convictions for prohibited camping. He was cited and released on the scene.
