FOREST ADVISORY FOR FRIDAY MORNING IN CENTRAL DOUGLAS COUNTY/SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON COAST

A Frost Advisory is in effect from 12:00 a.m. Friday through 11:00 a.m. Friday for central Douglas County and the South-Central Oregon Coast.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said temperatures below 36 degrees will result in frost formation.

The Advisory area includes the valleys of Douglas and Coos counties. This applies to Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Myrtle Creek, Winston, Canyonville, Myrtle Point, Camas Valley and Coquille along with nearby areas.

Forecasters said frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
