Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 8:40 a.m. officers contacted the suspect, who was in a vehicle in the 300 block of Northeast Winchester Street. He was wanted by his parole officer for failing to report as required. The man was detained without bail. He was released later on Tuesday.
