Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported prior theft incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said officers received information regarding a theft of a wallet containing $800 in cash from a business in the 2500 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, which had occurred on April 7th. One of the suspects was identified as a 47-year-old Eugene man.

The suspect met with RPD at 2:15 p.m. and was taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree theft. Bail was set at $6,250.
