ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING REPORTED DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported disturbance on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:40 p.m. officers responded to the incident in the 700 block of Southeast Spruce Street. Officers determined that 32-year-old Zachary Sullivan had attacked the victim, causing injuries to his lip and chin. Officers also knew that Sullivan had a warrant for his arrest. During the arrest process, Sullivan reportedly refused to exit the residence and barricaded himself in a bedroom. He was eventually taken into custody. Sullivan was charged with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree escape, second-degree disorderly conduct, and for the warrant. Bail was set at $3,750.
