Roseburg Police jailed a man Monday following an alleged prior assault incident.

An RPD report said 41-year-old Orion Davids was developed as a suspect in an assault that was captured on camera on Sunday, between Davids and a victim. Just after 7:30 a.m. officers contacted Davids in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street, and he admitted to the assault. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections.

Davids was charged with fourth-degree assault, menacing, and recklessly endangering another. He was detained on $18,750 bail.
