Roseburg Police cited a man for a city ordinance violation early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:10 a.m. officers contacted the 53-year-old in the parking lot of a business in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street after they saw him drinking from an alcohol container. The beverage was poured out, and the man was cited for drinking in public. He was then released.
