Roseburg Police cited two people for city ordinance violations on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 8:50 p.m. officers responded to numerous illegal camps in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. Officers contacted a man and a woman, both age 36, inside a tent that was in violation. There was also a large amount of rubbish around their camp which was approximately fifteen yards from the water’s edge.

Both people were cited and released for littering near waters and prohibited camping.
