Roseburg Police jailed a man for a probation violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. officers knew the 49-year-old was wanted by his probation officer for absconding and contacted him at his residence in the 2700 block of Northeast Douglas Avenue. A detainer was authorized and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail.
