Sutherlin Police jailed a man following an overnight traffic stop early Friday morning.

An SPD report said at 1:45 a.m. officers pulled 53-year-old Jerry Morris’s vehicle over for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of West Central Avenue. While attempting to impound the vehicle, the man reportedly committed the crimes of obstructing governmental administration, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $21,250.
