A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 5:00 p.m. Thursday for mountain areas in much of southern Oregon.

The Advisory area includes the eastern Douglas County foothills, the southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains. This includes Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, Toketee Falls, Crescent Lake, and Union Creek.

Forecasters said road conditions may be slick. Motorists should drive with caution when road surfaces refreeze Thursday night.
