One driver was taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday.
A Roseburg Police report said shortly after 12:00 p.m. a vehicle stopped near the intersection of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and the entrance to the Bureau of Land Management office while waiting for traffic to start moving on a green light in the eastbound lane of travel. A second vehicle rear-ended the first vehicle. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles. The driver of the first vehicle, a Springfield man, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaints of neck and back pain.
The driver who caused the wreck was cited for following too closely. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
