A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for felony warrants and was cited for drug possession on Friday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:30 p.m. the 27-year-old was contacted after nodding off in a vehicle near the intersection of Booth Ranch Road and Boomer Hill Road in the Myrtle Creek area. The man reportedly had drug paraphernalia around him and admitted to using. He was taken into custody and the warrants were confirmed. The man was also charged with unlawful possession of two Schedule II controlled substances. He was detained on $2,500 bail and was released on Saturday.
