A trooper with Oregon State Police jailed a man for reportedly getting into freeway traffic on Wednesday afternoon.

An OSP report said shortly before 2:00 p.m. dispatch received about five calls regarding the man who was allegedly getting onto the traffic lanes of Interstate Five southbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard Exit 125.  The 68-year-old was contacted and admitted that he was trying to get a ride to California. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and was detained without bail.
