In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Oregon Old Time Fiddler’s Association has their 2026 state convention happening through Saturday.

The event is taking place at the Winston Assembly of God Church on Southeast Darrell Avenue.

*Thursday is open for jamming throughout the day until 8:30 p.m.

*Friday more jamming plus workshops will be happening. The 7:00 p.m. evening show will feature 2025 National Fiddle Champion Jacie Sites.

*Saturday will feature more jamming and workshops from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a membership meeting at 11:00 a.m.

A food truck will be on-site Thursday and Saturday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a catered dinner available on Friday night.
