In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Lenten Meditations in Music continues Friday at Roseburg’s First Presbyterian Church.

Held for decades, the program is designed to provide time for gathering and prayerful contemplation during Lent. It takes place in the church sanctuary on Southeast Lane Avenue downtown, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. It can also be seen on the church’s Facebook page and its YouTube channel.

This week, pianist Karen Biggs will be featured.

The series will wrap up next week with traditional Good Friday readings and music.
