ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Monday night.

An RPD report said shortly after 7:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Southeast Fullerton Street. While on scene, officers learned that 36-year-old Thomas Wolfe had allegedly pointed a firearm at a victim, and when she tried to call 911, Wolfe reportedly grabbed her arm and took her phone from her, resulting in her fingers being injured. The victim then used her Smartwatch to call dispatchers.

Wolfe was taken into custody and charged with harassment, interfering with making a police report, menacing, and unlawful use of a weapon. He was detained without bail.
