A Glide man was jailed Friday night for a reported burglary at a trailer park.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:30 p.m. the incident was called in from a home in the 100 block of Peel Loop Lane in Glide. A deputy met with a victim who said their trailer had been broken into and some property had been damaged.

A witness reported they had received information that 34-year-old Erik Salmon had committed the burglary. Deputies responded to a nearby address on the same street and contacted Salmon. The man admitted that had broken into the victim’s trailer and damaged their property because he was upset that they drive too fast through the trailer park.

Salmon was taken into custody without incident and charged with first-degree counts of burglary and criminal trespass, and second-degree criminal mischief. Salmon was detained without bail.
