Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said officers knew the 35-year-old man had actives warrants for his arrest and found him near the 600 block of Northeast Stephens Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. The man initially attempted to run from officers but surrendered after a short distance.

He had three active warrants – one from the Douglas County Circuit Court, one from Roseburg Municipal Court and one from the Oregon State Parole Board. Bail was set at $25,000
