Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. the 21-year-old was called in as being a suspicious person at the Garden Valley Shopping Center in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The suspect has been reportedly wandering around the parking lot for several hours. His parole officer wanted him detained for failing to report as required. The man was detained without bail.
