Roseburg Police cited three people for prohibited camping on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 12:10 p.m. officers contacted three people at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street, under the Jackson Street Bridge. Camping is never allowed at this location due to its proximity to Deer Creek. One man, a 23-year-old was reportedly smoking marijuana out of a glass pipe when contacted.

All three were cited and released for prohibited camping. The 23-year-old was also cited for using marijuana in a public place.
