EARTH DAY AND ENERGY FAIR ON APRIL 18TH

March 18, 2026 3;05 a.m. 

The Earth Day and Energy Fair will take place on Saturday, April 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Presented by Umpqua Watersheds and a number of partner organizations, it will be a day of discovery, innovation, and connection.

The event will be held on Southeast Main Street, between Southeast Oak Avenue and Southeast Washington Avenue in downtown Roseburg.

Information sessions will be held throughout the day on topics like:

*Renewable energy and climate solutions

*Native plant landscaping

*Biochar: from forest waste to climate solution

*How are food choices affect the world

*The Crater Lake Wilderness Proposal

*Wild mushroom foraging

*Sustainable agriculture strategies

There will be exhibits, information tables and kid’s activities as well.

Other organizations supporting the Earth Day and Energy Fair include Thrive Umpqua, Umpqua Valley Farm to School, Douglas County Global Warming Coalition, Food as Medicine Oregon and Umpqua Valley Public Defender.
