DCLA SPRING LIVESTROCK CONFERENCE AND EXPO HAPPENING APRIL 8TH

The Douglas County Spring Livestock Conference and Expo is happening on Wednesday, April 8th at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

“Herd Smart: Production, Protection and Profitability is the theme. The one-day event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and includes an optional tri-tip dinner at 5:30 p.m. which includes a no-host bar and a special agricultural speaker.

Free sessions and demonstrations will be held throughout the day on topics like: beef quality assurance certification, estate plans and trusts, reproduction basics, vaccination and proper handling, sheep, goat, and swine herd health, and more.

In the Exhibit Hall and Pavilion there will be ag & farm/ranch agencies, local ag and equipment businesses, Umpqua Community College and lots more, with over 20 booths featured.

The dinner event is $15 before April 3rd or $20 at the door. Kids ages 5 to 10 are admitted for $10, with those under age 5 admitted for free. Register and pay at: https://www.dclivestock.org.
