ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR TRESPASS, MENACING, WARRANT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an incident at a business on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 12:00 p.m. officers responded to the 1600 block of Airport Road after a caller said the suspect was refusing to leave and was threatening employees. Officers arrived on the scene and took the 52-year-old man into custody without incident.

During the investigation, it was discovered the man had refused to leave after blaming employees for his car being towed after he was arrested. The suspect allegedly threatened to stab the manager and had garden shears in his pocket. Officers also determined the man had a warrant for his arrest, which was confirmed. He was also charged with second-degree criminal trespass and menacing. Bail was set at $2,500.
