A Roseburg woman was jailed for warrants, and cited for drug charges, following a freeway stop early Saturday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:30 a.m. a deputy observed a vehicle committing a traffic violation on Goodrich Highway in the Oakland area. The sedan then got onto Interstate 5 and began traveling southbound at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. The deputy caught up with the vehicle near the Sutherlin Exit 135 and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, 44-year-old Stephanie Rayhill, had multiple warrants from several agencies and was detained without incident. During a search of Rayhill’s person, the deputy allegedly located 0.3 grams of fentanyl. A search of the vehicle located a safe which allegedly contained an additional 3 grams of fentanyl, 26 pills of lorazepam, a digital scale with fentanyl residue and packaging materials.

Rayhill was charged with the warrants and was cited for unlawful possession of fentanyl and unlawful possession of a Schedule 4 controlled substance. Bail was set at $31,250.
