Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant, parole violation or drinking in public on Friday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:40 a.m. the 52-year-old was contacted outside a business in the 1100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man had an un-worked warrant out of Roseburg Municipal Court. The man was taken into custody. During that time, officers located a half drank bottle of vodka. His parole officer was contacted and authorized a detainer. Bail was set at $5,000.
