STATE POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING FREEWAY INCIDENT

Troopers with Oregon State Police jailed a man following a freeway incident on Wednesday morning.

An OSP report said at 10:45 a.m. a trooper responded after a caller said there was a subject in the southbound lanes of travel near Rice Hill. The adult male was allegedly observed lunging at and yelling toward southbound traffic. The 50-year-old was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was detained without bail and was released on Thursday.
