Roseburg Police jailed a man Wednesday for an alleged past theft.

An RPD report said at 12:45 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violation in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The passenger was arrested for the prior incident. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The 40-year-old was detained without bail.

No further information regarding the case was released by RPD.
