Roseburg Police cited a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants and violation of the speed limit early Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 3:00 a.m. an officer stopped the 22-year-old from Sutherlin after observing her driving 70 miles per hour in the 1400 block of Northeast Stephens Street. That area is a 35 miles per hour zone. The woman showed signs of impairment but refused standard field sobriety tests. She was transported to corrections.

The woman’s vehicle was released to a family member. The driver was released after her citations were issued.
